Experimenting with macro lenses, closeup filters and extension tubes.
Bought set of 4 closeup filters (58mm) for Canon. They work like a charm. The set includes 1x, 2x, 4x and 10x. I tried them on a 50mm, 100mm, and 65mm. With the MP-E 65mm at 5x + a 10x closeup lens, I feel like I’m getting toward microscopic without the electron microscope cost.

Looking forward to trying out new Manfrotto 190XPROB Pro Aluminum Tripod Kit from B&H photo. So done with my cheap tripods and hoping this one is sturdy and a keeper. Anyone have experience with this model? Working the macro magic.

Getting used to the 60D. This camera has so many options that I’ll be busy for a while taking awesome shots…well, that’s the plan. Anyone else have experience with this camera?

Working on extreme macro photos up to 5x. This lens can go from 1x (100mm) to 5x (41mm). Have to watch that the object doesn’t hit the lens — it’s THAT close!
